Ryan Shugart is a subject matter expert on accessibility at Microsoft, where he has worked since late 2016. He is part of the Cloud + AI accessibility team, where he helps other teams understand accessibility bugs and design good experiences for people with disabilities. He is passionate about making technology more inclusive and empowering for everyone. Ryan currently lives in Colorado with his wife and their dog. He enjoys reading, learning about the latest technology and enjoying good food. He also likes to share his knowledge and insights on accessibility. He believes that accessibility is not only a moral obligation, but also a business opportunity and a source of innovation.
Nir Baligar is the Accessibility Lead for Power Apps team at Microsoft. He has been working and driving accessibility at Microsoft for 15 years. At Power Apps, his mission is to create the most usable low-code platform to empower every maker and end-user. His passion for accessibility deeply stems from his professional and personal experiences. As a colorblind person, he sees the world differently than many. He believes that everyone has unique abilities, and it’s the technology that’s the limiting factor to empower everyone.
