In February 2020, Just Eat merged with Takeaway.com, forming Just Eat Takeaway.com, the world’s leading online food delivery marketplace outside China. By using the platform, customers can search for local takeaway options, place orders and pay online, and choose between pick-up or delivery options.
Operating in various locations, Just Eat aims to provide the best food delivery experience to all users, and places its customers at the heart of its digital strategy. This mission proves to be a real challenge given the wide variety of locations, user journeys and unique devices used by its customer base.
To tackle these challenges, the Just Eat teams combine their in-house QA and testing efforts with Applause’s testing teams sourced from its global community. By doing so, the company ensures that its apps and website are fully functional at all times, across a wide range of device/OS combinations and in various locations across the globe.
